Laurel Lodge Wedding Venue
Back in a small wooded area lies a wooden cottage. This cottage holds home to many wedding events and baby showers. The cottage and business is known as Laurel Lodge. It's just a small business owned by my family. Angela Wagner, the Head Coordinator of the Lodge decided to start the business. "Our family has owned the Lodge for years and I decided a couple years ago to fix it up and run a wedding venue there. It has turned out great so far," she said. I'm her worker, I help setup the tables and decorate the room.

Once we put all the tables and chairs out we lay the linens on the tables. "They decide what colors they want on their tables and I rent them from a place in Lewisburg, and once the event concludes I will collect them all up and take them back." When the linens get placed down and usually people ask for center pieces too. When it's all done, we've done our part (See Picture 2). The mother of the bride or family the bride and groom will come in on Saturday morning and place their decorations down and get the food ready and on the tables. They will either host the wedding outside or the bride and groom will just use the lodge as there reception.

"It doesn't take long to set up everything when I get help from Reed, and doing this might take some time and energy but it's worth the extra money." What my mom did with the lodge was a good thing because before she came up with this idea, all it was doing was sitting down there and was never used. When the people are done with there event they clean everything up put the trash in our trash cans outside the lodge. Then my mom and I go down and put all the chairs on top of the tables and the next day we have a cleaning lady come in and mop the floors.
