My Bio

Hi, my name is David Angelucci. I'm from Bethlehem, PA and I attended Bethlehem Catholic High School. I played both golf and baseball in high school. I'm an undeclared sophomore and I continued my baseball career here at Bloomsburg. If you wanna hit up the baseball house let me know I got you. Eating a lot of food is one of my favorite things to do. My favorites include cheeseburgers, mac n' cheese, and pulled pork sandwiches. I once ate a 2-pound hamburger in ocmd;) I have one dog, named Dexter. He's a cross between a Maltese and a Yorkie. The summer before I came to Bloomsburg I went on a trip to Europe. I visited Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and France. As you can see, I've added some pictures below of my trip.  I'm a huge Philadelphia sports fan. I'm looking forward to the Eagles winning the Super Bowl this year of course. One of my many claims to fame is that I attended the Philadelphia Phillies' division clinching game back in 2007. Biography-Tori Bissinger

Hi, my name is Tori Bissinger. I'm from Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and I'm a senior at Central Columbia high school. I am an ACE student, a teacher's aide, a student in an AP Spanish class... It's going to be a crazy, work-filled year but I'm still pretty excited to be doing everything I wanted to be doing as a freshman.

If I had to sum up my life in five quick points...

2. I'm gluten free (NOT by choice)... no pizza, pasta, cookies, or anything delicious for that matter. 
3. I love children. I plan on going to Kutztown University and pursuing a degree in elementary education and special education with a possible minor in Spanish. 
4. I have Lyme Disease. I've had it for 3 1/2 years now and have IV therapy every six weeks because of it. I should go into remission sometime this year.
5. I love to travel. I've been all over the USA and visited London and France for my 16th birthday. Next summer, my family and I will travel to Scotland.

I am happiest when I have my nose in a book or relaxing with my friends. Hiking is an activity I try to frequently pursue, but when you're as clumsy as I am, it's relatively dangerous. A good day is one surrounded by kids. Currently, I spend a few hours a day at an elementary school in Benton. My students are absolute angels and while some are stubborn, the class's love for school blows me away every day. Among other things I enjoy baking, watching movies, spending time with my family, and online shopping.

This year is going to be full of amazing memories from my Spanish "family", my second graders, and of course from my first year as a "college student". I already see a future of all-nighters and Starbucks dates with my friends, but I am extremely excited. My senior year couldn't be more perfect.

Biography- Andrew Shedleski

Hi, my name is Andrew Shedleski. I'm an ACE student here at Bloomsburg for my senior year of high school at Lewisburg Area. I have been a wrestler and football player since I was five years old, and I plan on continuing my wrestling career at the collegiate level. I am the oldest of four siblings: three boys and a girl. My house is also home to two small dogs, a shi tzu named Zuzu and a terrier mix named George. Between sports, school, and hobbies, our household is constantly busy and used mostly as a checkpoint throughout our week to talk about our days and plan for the next.

I am excited to take classes at Bloomsburg University this year in order to prepare myself to be a Division 1 student athlete. I would describe myself as an active participant in the classroom and someone who strives to maintain high academic standing. While studying or doing homework, I often listen to music by artists like Green Day (Boulevard of Broken Dreams).  Outside of school and sports, I love fly-fishing Pennsylvania Creeks like Penns and Spring. It is a hobby that takes years to master due to the extensive knowledge of insect life cycles in specific creeks needed to be constantly successful. Having only begun fly fishing less than two years ago, I have a long way to go before this point.

My Bio

Hi my name is Reed Wagner, I am from a small town in the middle of PA called Mifflinburg. I am still a high school student but attending Bloomsburg in replace of classes there. I mainly dedicate my summers to baseball so I don't take many vacations unless they're baseball related. I have made it to states in baseball over the summer but lost in the semi-finals. Over the summer I went down to Ashland, Virgina to play in a baseball tournament. I have played in a couple professional baseball stadium over the summer too. I made my high school conference all-star team and also was a Daily Item all-star. One of my favorite things to do is hang out with my friends and create fun memories that we will remember forever. In my opinion creating memories with your friends is one of the best things you can do, they are something you have laughs about with them in the future. Basically playing the game I love with my friends is the best memory to make to me.

Hello! I am also an athlete for BU here on the track team.  At home, I live with my sister, dad, mom and my three pets. Coming into BU I knew a lot of people here already so the transition wasn't that scary and the adjusting was smooth for me. Hello, I am Hailee. I grew up in Turbotville PA. I am a senior at Warrior Run high school as well as an ACE and STEM student here at Bloomsburg University (BU). Although I'm a senior in high school this is my second year taking classes at the college. I plan to attend BU and major in digital forensics after I graduate high school.

Bio Sean Roche

Hi my name is Sean Roche, I moved from northern NJ to Bloomsberg with a major in information technology management and I'm not good at talking about myself.  Before I moved from NJ to Bloomsberg I lived in London for five years.  That was an adjustment to coming back to America after five living in London for such a time just like coming to Bloomsberg.  I have adopted two dog who I'm missing right now, one's a black lab and the other is a pug terrier with endless needs.  I have been to New York countless times and love the city, as well as the sport teams there.  Football is the sport for me, the New York Football Giants is my team, not the Jets.  Will never forget the two super bowls they won against the Patriots.  I also spend my time watching movies, I'll watch almost any move. The top few would have to be Hotfuzz, Steve McQueen LeMans, Rock n' Rolla, Monty Python, and the Godfather.  Part one and two should be considered one movie.  The Third Godfather movie was awful.  As well as many other great and bad movies I have watched and enjoyed. 
I have had the luxury to live in Europe and travel though out it.  Mainly spending time is northern France, Italy, and Belgium.  One of my favorite trips was to France when me and my family when to the Twenty Four Hours of LeMans.  The twenty four hour no stop race is a race where teams from across the world come to race each other in a race of speed and endurance.  Each car has four divers that switch out though out the race.  So we got our seats and watched an amazing race filled with excitement.  I was also able to race the circuit the day before the race.  I really enjoy watching racing, mainly F1 and the race at LeMans.  In Formula one I am a Ferrari fan and for LeMans I am a Porsche fan. That is one of my favorite trips and race of all time.

Hello, My name is Mya Nales
I am from Allentown Pennsylvania I like to dance. Ive been dancing since I was 7. My mom put me in a Tap and Ballet class but I didn't like it that much when I was little. I eventually grew to love it and it is now one of my passions. Dancing is an escape for me its like meditation,My favorite style of dance is Modern. Modern dance was made out of rebellion towards Ballet, Ballet is made with straight lines its usually stiff movements. Modern dance is based on curved movements low to the ground its focused on shapes and being one with your self and body. In modern dance the attire is bare foot and comfortable clothes. Another style of dance I enjoy is Hip-Hop which is also a free type of dance. Some people think that hip-hop is unprofessional and vulgar because of some of the movements or the way people regularly dance to hip-hop music at a party. Hip hop dancers listen to the beats and make the movements according to the hidden beats in popular "hip-hop songs". Bio

I am Zach Keffer, and I am from Mount Gretna, Pennsylvania and have lived there since I was 5 years old. Home is something that means a lot to me, I didn't realize how much it meant to me until I left to go to school. Mount Gretna is a unique place to grow up, as it is a big attraction to people from all over from June to September. The lake, the Jigger Shoppe ice cream parlor, and the Playhouse are just a few of the sites and activities that attract so many outsiders to my hometown every summer. The most famous of events to happen in Gretna every year is the annual Art and Craft Show. There are so many different artists from all over the country that are invited to show off and sell their work for a weekend over the summer. The entire town revolves around that event on the 19th and 20th of August. One of my favorite things about the art show is the food, every year I order the fried nutter butters and every year they are delicious. After the Saturday of the art show ends, parties fill the neighborhoods with live bands, catering, and lots of drinking.

Dan Snarski

     My name is Daniel Snarski, I was born in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and currently live in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania. I grew up in a small town close to Mount Carmel with my parents and siblings. I have two brothers, Michael and Kyle, and a sister Vanessa, all of which are far older than me. Along with them being nearly double my age, they are all Penn State Alums, as I wish to be.  I am a high school senior and I am working for credits that will eventually transfer to Penn State. I plan on attending Penn State for a four year degree in Chemical Engineering and potentially into a masters program.

     I enjoy learning and playing guitar although I am not very good! Shown below is an image of my dream guitar. Although it is not his guitar specifically, this style guitar is the same one used by Jimmy Page in the recording of Stairway to Heaven. Included is a video of Jimmy Page playing one of my favorite songs from Led Zeppelin. Other than Led Zeppelin and music in general, I also enjoy working. I work in two separate restaurants and at a wood flooring business. During my time at work I try to get as much done as possible as it shows I am a hard worker and dedicated to what I do. So far I like college and the new people I am meeting, but I do not like the drive from Mount Carmel everyday, as it is quite far and gas is not cheap, but in my situation, the good outweighs the bad!

Hi,
I'm Mia Kaminsky. I'm from Kulpmont, PA. I'm currently a senior at Mount Carmel Area, therefore I am in the ACE program. I have two chocolate labs named Manny (right) and Mack (left).

At Mount Carmel, I'm a captain for varsity cheerleading. I have been cheering since kindergarten. The following picture is a picture of the seniors at our annual Just Gotta Cheer clinic. At this clinic, we teach girls from grades kindergarten-sixth cheers, chants, and dances that we learned at our cheer camp. I also participate with the varsity track and field team. My events are shotput and discus. The 2016-2017 track team received PHAC champions and also went undefeated that season.

When I graduate high school, I plan on going to college to study to be a veterinarian. I have always been associated with working well with pets, especially when it is known that a pet is difficult. My plans are that with taking courses using ACE that I will get most of my gen eds out of the way for my freshmen year at my actual college.

Jessie DeGori

Hi, my name is Jessie DeGori and I am a junior here at Bloomsburg University and majoring in environmental geoscience. I plan to work with water, maybe a Hydrologist. I am from Damascus, PA, which is basically the middle of nowhere. I have a pet pig named Julia and she is huge! My favorite things to do are hiking, swimming and hanging out with my friends. My favorite color is green and I LOVE hot wings. I go to Mexico every year with my family and all I know how to say is hello and goodbye in Spanish. I like to travel all sorts of places, even if its a small trip up the road. I always like to see new things and meet new people. Where I work at Bethel Woods, there are people that come  from all over the world just to see the original Woodstock,so it was pretty neat to hear their stories, it was like I was visiting the towns of where these people live.

Robert Leonard

    My name is Robert Leonard. I'm from Greenfield Pennsylvania. I'm a freshmen, my major is English Literature. Before I came here I was a bit of a recluse. I really enjoy reading I've read 37 books this year so far. Some of my favorite books are Of Mice and Men, War and Peace, 1984, To Kill a Mockingbird and All Quiet on the Western Front. I could list more but it would be a very long list. Bio - John Brauer

Hi, I'm John Brauer. I'm a freshman and a writing major here at Bloomsburg, and I came here from York, Pennsylvania but I'm originally from Dayton, Ohio. Though I enjoy writing very much, I haven't kept anything I've done over the past couple years, with a few exceptions, including the work I've done on my movie review blog (https://purple-pen-reviews.tumblr.com/). Though I worked in a movie theater this summer, I rarely reviewed anything in the theaters, for various reasons. About Me

Hi, I'm Gabriella Nuzzi.

I'm from Montville, New Jersey and I am a freshman at Bloomsburg University. I am the oldest member of my family. I have a sister named Ciara and a brother named Joseph. I also have a six year old yellow lab named Jett, who I love to death. I am planning on majoring in Early Childhood education. I worked as an after school assistant which really sparked my interest in this field. I also work frequently as a babysitter. In my free time I enjoy hikes with friends, adult coloring books and watching Netflix (primarily Friends and the Office).

This summer, I went to the beach in Long Branch almost every Sunday.The one exception was the week I was vacationing in Cancun, Mexico. That trip was amazing because I absolutely love relaxing on beautiful beaches, over touring and site seeing vacations. Nevertheless, last summer I ventured on a trip to Italy which I thought was awesome and I even got to visit Naples, the town my grandmother grew up in. Next summer I really hope to travel to Puerto Rico. Overall, the adventure I am most looking forward to is the one I am beginning at Bloomsburg!

Rosolino Mangiapane Bio

   Hi, my name is Rosolino Mangiapane and I am an ACE student from Mount Carmel Pennsylvania. I have two younger sisters and my parents own Original Italian Pizza in Mount Carmel. I have two dogs both ten years old, one is a mix between a miniature pinscher and a chihuahua and the other is a jack russell. I am very allergic to dogs but I can't stay away from them!
 
   I enjoy playing soccer, running, and art. I am a big fan of European soccer, my favorite club being Juventus and favorite player being Paul Pogba on Manchester United who recently transferred from Juventus. This summer I went to watch a friendly match between Juventus and Barcelona with the stadium having 82,000+ people. At my highschool I am the kicker for my high school football team, run track, and play indoor soccer in Bloomsburg and Northumberland. I am also involved in the art club, tech ed club, calc club, and interact club, as well as stage crew.

   My strengths are more inclined towards mathematics and science. I plan on becoming a civil engineer or at least something closely related to it. Over the summer I had an internship with the Crossroads Group, a civil engineering company in Paxinos, Pennsylvania.

Biography

Hi, I'm Emilee Wasilewski
I am from Kulpmont, PA and I commute to Bloomsburg. I am here at BU doing the ACE program. Therefore, I am still a senior at Mount Carmel Area. I love sports and I participate in basketball and track. My basketball team has won the district championship game two years in a row. Also, my track team won the league championship last season. My track and field events include triple jump, high jump, and long jump. I hope to participate in track and field when I go to college next year.

Sports are definitely one of my biggest passions. Throughout my life I have participated in basketball, track and field, soccer, cross country, gymnastics, cheerleading, and powderpuff football. Everyone in my family are big fans of sports. My one cousin is even a strength and conditioning coach for the Minnesota University football team. Playing and being involved in sports has helped me make a lot of friends in my life.

Something that means the most to me in life is being involved in ThinkBig. ThinkBig is an organization that raises money to help kids with pediatric cancer. These donations go directly to the patients and their families. Every year my high school holds a ThinkBig Dance Marathon. Just last year, we raised over $37,000 to give to the organization. It really means a lot to know that I can help give pediatric cancer patients some hope and support.

Rachel Byrnes

Hi, my name is Rachel Byrnes. I am a freshman at Bloomsburg, however, I am originally from Souderton, PA. I am a daughter, sister, friend and reptile lover. I love to explore as well as to go out and do many things. This summer I went on many vacations and each one was very different. First was my vacations to Brigantine, New Jersey with my best friend Lauryn. We went down with her dad, step-mom, step brother and her brothers friend. All week we went to the beach and to the boardwalk. The very first day we got there I fell asleep on the beach and got sun poisoning all on my back! After this vacation the same day I got back I left with my friend Zach the same day to go back to New Jersey to his beach house. We got to make bonfires every night and go out on the pontoon during the day, swim in the bay and go jet skiing. My last vacation was in Massachusetts and we just spent time with family at their house in the woods.

The rest of my summer I spent with my best friends everyday. Swimming, having sleepovers and going on adventures! I would wake up, do the laundry, water the plants, feed the dog, and tidy up the house and then leave with my friend Jordan to meet up with our friends and do anything and everything. I wouldn't come home until about 3am and then repeat that cycle everyday. One example of the things we would do is my friend Nick told us that he had a really cool place for us to go so we went to an abandoned winery and walked around these huge over grown buildings discovering what was in them.

About Me: Erika K

Hi, my name is Erika Koenigsberg, I am a sophomore at Bloomsburg University and my major is Social Work. My freshman year at Bloom, my family and I were in the middle of moving from New Jersey to Pennsylvania. My grammy lives in Danville, so I have been visiting PA since I was a child. Moving was an experience for me because I had never moved before, living in the same house my whole life leaving my friends and my boyfriend behind.
Fast forward to the summer, I was all moved in but constantly driving back and forth to NJ to visit friends and my boyfriend. At first it was a pain because I didn't know the route but after the first few times, I am now an expert and I've always loved driving so it made life easier.

• Aside from a busy summer, a few things about myself that you may or may not find interesting. 
• My favorite food is pizza. 
• I love my dog more than I love most people, because have you seen dogs...we don't deserve them, they are precious.

Biography

My name is Rya Butillo and I am from Collegeville, Pennsylvania. I have a brother who recently moved out of our home to the city of Pittsburgh. I now only live with my mother and father. In my town, I work at a local bar named the Eagleville Tavern. Over the summer I would work an average of twenty to thirty hours a week serving at my restaurant. Serving may not be my dream job, but I truly enjoy doing it and I am grateful for the experiences and lessons that I have endured since working at the establishment.

Along with working often, I do enjoy art in my free time. Ever since I could remember, I loved doing art. My mother is an interior designer, which I think influenced my love for art. I also am really passionate about music. I believe it helps keep peace of mind and it has had a huge influence on modern day society. One of my favorite bands is Led Zeppelin, as my mother and I have matching tattoos for the band. This is one of my favorite Led Zeppelin videos because it reminds me of my mother, whom I love dearly.

Hello all, my name is Ayman Saadeh and I'm from West Chester, PA. I graduated from Henderson High School in West Chester down the street from the Chester County Hospital, the hospital where I was born.
